It feels like yesterday that Dalton Crossan was gliding, juking and faking out defenders on the turf at Fred Fusaro Alumni Stadium. After a year of redshirting at New Hampshire, the shifty and elusive running back has picked up where he left off. The only difference is that he’s bigger, stronger and faster.

Crossan rushed for a game-high 61 yards and two touchdowns to lead Team Cats over Team Wild in a 20-0 victory in New Hampshire’s Blue-White spring football game at Cowell Stadium on Saturday.

For his effort, Crossan was recognized as the most improved player at his respective running back position.

A 2012 Sachem North graduate, Crossan left Sachem with the school’s single-season rushing record and as the winner of the Hansen Award, presented to the top football player in Suffolk County annually.
