Mark your calendars! The Sachem Central School District PTA Council will host its annual “Meet the Candidates” night on Wednesday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place in the auditorium at Samoset Middle School.
This program gives the community an opportunity to hear the school board candidates present their vision, ideas and plan for the future for students and Sachem. There will be an opportunity for you to get answers to many of your questions.
The budget vote and board election will take place on Tuesday, May 21. There are currently three seats up for election. Incumbents Tony Falco, Sal Tripi and Mike Timo are all seeking reelection. The names of individuals potentially running against the incumbents are not available yet.
