Sachem East alum Keith Kinkaid was recalled by the New Jersey Devils of the NHL from their AHL affiliate in Albany on Wednesday.
This is the second time Kinkaid was been called up to the big club this season. He made his NHL in early March against the Lightning and was called back down two days later.
Whereas last time Martin Brodeur was injured with back problems, this time it’s backup goalie Johan Hedberg who is “sore,” according to ESPN New York. ESPN reported that he had a collision during practice on Tuesday.
