For the first time in program history, the Marquette men’s lacrosse team earned a victory this weekend.
Led by rookie head coach and Sachem alum Joe Amplo, the Golden Eagles beat Air Force, 8-6 at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs. This is Amplo’s first career victory as a head coach.
“Today we had an opportunity to win a lacrosse game,” said Amplo. “That is unbelievably rewarding for our staff and their kids; they’ve earned everything they’ve gotten since they’ve been here. It was a great team victory.”
