Earlier this year, Ben Franquiz, a special education teacher at Sachem High School North, applied for an iPad grant from the Nassau Suffolk Chapter of the Autism Society of America to utilize with his students who have autism.
After careful review by NSASA, Franquiz was notified he was selected to receive an Ipad for use with his students.
