Sachem North alum Gerald Logan was singled out in Quint Kessenich’s Weekend Top 20 column on Inside Lacrosse after his performance against Johns Hopkins this past weekend.
Less than two years removed from starting in net for the Flaming Arrows, Logan is now playing goalie against the top teams in the world.
Logan made 12 saves in a 17-8 loss against No. 4 Hopkins on the road in Baltimore.
“The Wolverines play hard and received a superb game from goalie Gerald Logan,” wrote Kessenich, a Long Island native known as one of the premier voices in the sport. “It’s great to see the Maize and Blue on Homewood Field.”
The Wolverines (0-3) will be in action again Saturday, March. 2 vs. Army in the Orange Bowl Lacrosse Classic in Miami.
