The Jump Rope for Heart Jump-a-Thon has become a staple at Gatelot Avenue Elementary School. It was held for the 10th consecutive year earlier this month.
Mrs. Dolan and Mr. Scholz, the building physical education teachers, coordinated the event.
Students, who dress in red as part of the event, collect donations for the American Heart Association. The school has raised more than $25,000 since the event started a decade ago.
