Suffolk County Leg. Tom Muratore (R, Ronkonkoma) had the pleasure of presenting a proclamation to the Sachem High School East field hockey team for their championship season. This is the second year he has recognized them for an outstanding performance and winning a state title.
Sachem East finished 22-0 and is 43-1 over the last two seasons.
“I am pleased to have them back at the Legislature to present this proclamation; I hope to see them again next year,” said Muratore. “Congratulations to coach Tina Moon and the young ladies on the team for a job well done.”
