Sachem East senior Samantha Marrone has committed to play softball at C.W. Post.
Post, who competes in the East Coast Conference, finished 37-22 last season and ended its season in the NCAA Division II East Regionals.
To our knowledge, Marrone is the first junior from Sachem East’s Class of 2014 to commit to a college for softball.
There are currently no other players from Sachem East or North on the roster at Post.
