Sachem alum and Olympian Maria Michta was a guest on this week’s “Sachem News Hour” on 91.9-FM, WSHR.
Michta spoke about here experiences in London this past summer, competing in the Olympics in the women’s 20k racewalk.
Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Mount Sinai Medical School in Manhattan, Michta is aiming to finish her degree program, planning a wedding for 2014 and possibly making a run at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She spoke about all of these things in the interview.
