Earlier this month, the Sachem East football program held its annual awards brunch at Villa Lombardis. A number of players were honored earned awards in what was Sachem East’s most successful season to date.
Here’s a rundown of the honorees:
- Team MVP: 2013 Senior Class
- Offensive MVP: Steven Casali and Brian Balsamo
- Defensive MVP: Steven Casali and Ryan Dippel
- Outstanding Special Teams Award: Ryan Dippel
- Gold Helmet Award: Payton Quattropani
- Michael Mignone Most Valuable Offensive Lineman: John Vigh
- Most Valuable Defensive Lineman: Michael Marchello
- Hustle Award: Brent Gluskin
- Coaches Award: Tom Bucholz, David Foster, Chris Huber, Kevin Merrihue
