Sachem North wrestling had six champions at the Andrew Peers Memorial Tournament at Walt Whitman High School on Saturday.
Sachem’s Giovanni Santiago recored the most pins in the least amount of time (four in 5:42) en route to a tournament victory at 182 pounds in just 47 seconds.
Among Sachem’s other champions from the Whitman meet were Matt Stallone, Anthony Nunziata, Matt Marino, James Sanzone, Anthony DiMatteo and Steven Mills.
There were another five Sachem wrestlers who lost in the finals, making for a total of 11 grapplers in the championship round.
The Flaming Arrows will be in action again on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the David Bloom Memorial Duals at Wantagh High School.
