Sachem North has its boys basketball home opener on Friday evening at the high school.
The Flaming Arrows host Northport in a non-league contest starting with the JV at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity at 6:15 p.m.

After beating Connetquot, 61-33, in its season opener, Sachem looks to carry the fire into the home setting. Brendan Chetuck led the Flaming Arrows with 10 points and 15 rebounds in a double-double performance out of the gate.
