Sachem North junior kicker Bryan Morris was selected to the MSG Varsity All-Metro Watch List for Long Island specialists this week.
Of the four selections, Morris is the only junior and only public school player on the list.
Morris is Suffolk County’s preeminent PAT man and is two shy of setting the Long Island record, which he will undoubtably break during Week 1 of the 2013 season.
During his junior campaign this year, Morris reached the 100-PAT plateau and edged closer to Long Island and New York State records in total career points.
A three-year varsity player, he also converted his first career field goals this year and was 4-for-7 with a career-long of 37 yards in a playoff win over Bay Shore.
The official All-Metro teams will be announced on a special edition of “A Quick :60” on Tuesday, Dec. 18.
