The Sachem Central School District will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 1 and Friday, Nov. 2, according to Superintendent James Nolan.
Sachem has been closed since Monday due to Hurricane Sandy and its wide spread damage and power outages.

There are Suffolk County playoff games for various sports scheduled for early this week which will be cancelled as well. As we learn more information about time/location/date changes, we will have the information as soon as possible on all of Sachem’s digital platforms.
Sachem High School East in Farmingville, N.Y. will serve as an emergency shelter for the American Red Cross during the storm.
