Sachem hosting Meet the Candidate Night

The Sachem Legislative Committee is hosting a “Meet the Candidate Night” on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Samoset Middle School.

The event is an opportunity to meet and speak with the candidates who are running for political office and who will be representing the Sachem community.

Please join the legislative committee so the candidates may get to know you as caring community members and voters. Let’s be a strong voice for education.

Currently scheduled to attend are Assemblyman Al Graf (R), Assemblyman Dean Murray (R), State Sen. Lee Zeldin (R), State Sen. John Flanagan (R), Randy Altschuler (R), who is running against Rep. Tim Bishop (D) for U.S. Congress, and Ed Hennessy, who is running on the Democratic ticket for State Assembly. Rep. Bishop will also be in attendance. Invitations were also sent to Rep. Bishop, Assemblyman Steve Englebright (D) and other politicians running for local office.

Time: 7:30 p.m.
