Welcome to The Sachem Report. As a proud member of the Sachem family, specifically involved with the school district’s communications efforts, I wanted to create a platform for the community to stay informed of all district news and information.
One of my favorite topics to discuss and research is Sachem history and how the district’s thousands of alums are succeeding in various disciplines around the world. On The Sachem Report we’ll be conducting major historical research to bridge the gap between Sachem’s early development in the 1950s to today.
Stay updated and informed with daily posts of the many happenings around Sachem. I’m excited to work with you and for you to keep you updated on Red, Black & Gold Country. As a Sachem alum, resident and diehard, my pride and passion for this community and school district will go into every letter of every word in every sentence on this site.
A major priority of Sachem Schools is to promote its new and growing presence on social media. Earlier this year I helped launch the @SachemSchools account on Twitter and a Sachem Schools Facebook page. Those continue to gain dozens of followers a week and will be a priority of development for years to come. Follow and like the pages to stay informed there as well.
If you have a story idea, need something addressed in the school district or just want to share your experiences as a past student or employee at Sachem, please feel free to contact me directly at editor@sachemreport.com.
