Sachem alum and broadcast journalist Alycia Lane is out of her morning news anchor spot at KNBC-LA as of this week, according to multiple reports.
“Alycia Lane and Sean Murphy’s last day was today, October 16,” a station spokesperson told TVSpy, a blog on MediaBistro.com. “We are grateful for the contributions they have both made to NBC4 and wish them the best in their future endeavors.”
Murphy was a traffic reporter at the network. Lane and Murphy joined KNBC after working at KYW, a CBS owned affiliate in Philadelphia.
Lane, 41, is one of many Sachem alums to work in the media industry, but her positions in Philly and Los Angeles are very high profile in nature given the size of the cities.
She has not updated her Twitter profile bio and has not posted a tweet since October 1.
